Day 9 Update! And, how do you reward yourself after achieving a major goal???

NINE DAYS UNTIL THE PHOTO SHOOT!

Exercise:
Sweat Box (50 minutes)
Arms and Abs (25 minutes)

Eating:
6:30am
Strawberry Protein Smoothie
8:45am Egg White Omelet w/onions and peppers
11:25am 1 cup Greek Yogurt and Strawberries
2:00pm Shrimp, Chicken and veggie stir-fry
4:30pm Shrimp, Chicken and veggie stir-fry
8:00pm Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie

Drinking:
128 oz h2o
1.75 cups almond milk

I am SOOOOO HAPPY my gym opened back up this evening. I am even happier that it was relatively easy getting myself out of my parking spot! Because my gym opened, I decided to go to the evening classes and as a result, ended up having my last meal later. It's ok since it was a protein smoothie and my muscles need the protein to recover! :)

I can hardly believe there are only 9 days until the photo-shoot! I have been thinking that I have been working hard to achieve my goals of discipline and sticking to my plan. I feel like I need a reward, an exhalation, a pause to thank and recognize myself and my body for going on this wild ride with me. I am having a hard time thinking of rewards for myself on this one. When you achieve major goals, what do you do to reward yourself? Any ideas?

  1. I know this sounds crazy but my motivation is underwear. If I workout 5 days or more in a week, I buy myself a new panty and bra set. Im kinda obessed with underwear so this is a perfect reward for me :-)

  2. You know, that is a good way to motivate yourself that doesn't depend on lbs lost or what the scale says. You motivate and reward yourself when you successfully stick to the goals you have set for yourself. I like that. All of this just lets me know, I don't reward myself enough. :( Even little rewards are nice. And, nice under garments sure make you feel nice!!!! :)

  3. Hmmm.. I usually like to go celebrate with a friend or friends. So, to celebrate your success you could spend some time with those who are close and supportive. You could go get a one hour massage to let your body know how much you appreciate it's cooperation! You could treat yourself to a mani pedi but since it's so close to the shoot you might want to wait... You could take a nice warm bubble bath complete with lighted candles and mood music (India Arie anyone)! You could utilize some deep breathing techniques and talk with the Creator about how thankful you are for His faithfulness to you...

    I could go on and on... Love you and so proud too!
